Elderberry Syrup AKA MAGIC

You guys. It is my least favorite time of year in sickness land... WINTER! Let's just be real that as soon as school starts it is just everywhere... you've got croup, colds, RSV (holla to the momma's with an infant), tummy bugs (we will totally do a post on that, I just need the Lord to get my emotions ready... can you say PTSD?) 


I feel like yes, children go to school to get educated and learn all the things that will questionably make you succeed in life... but it is also like they go to school to concoct a new breed of illness? AM I RIGHT?!

So this, the magic juice. If you have not heard of it, well you can just leave your praises in the comments because this is a game changer. Who can take this?

We started to use Elderberry right after my 2 year old turned 1 year. Now it is a daily part of our regiment, in that she gets her Elderberry in her water (easy score for her thinking it is 'Juice'!)

+ Regular dose is 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp for kids and 1/2 Tbsp to 1 Tbsp for adults

+ If an illness does strike, take the normal dose every 2-3 hours instead of once a day until symptoms disappear

Just a few words on the alternative (Tamiflu)…
